Within an 1800’s farmhouse, we found a space that needed a refresh. Our goal was to create a bright and tranquil space to be a backdrop for our client’s antique furniture, plants, vintage toys, and artwork. The window trim pretending to be wainscot had to go, along with the painted over wallpapered walls. Underneath the tan carpet, we found tan painted original pine flooring which we painted to match the mood of the space. We let the board and batten sophisticate the space, while keeping it simple and calming.
